Mixing up my days

I posted a brief description of yesterday earlier. It Was Day 13 of course, not Day 12. My bad.

  1. Try again: the last post (perhaps I shouldn't say that when you are struggling??!!) failed miserably......
Bon courage, mon brave! OK, you're not like Scott or Amundsen but they are dead and you are very much alive and kicking (although not with that multi-coloured leg of yours.....)And, despite what you say, it does take a lot of grit to get up and walk each day for 50+ days, particularly after an 18 miler. So, be encouraged and imagine the thrill of seeing Pont Tancarville & Pont Normandie coming into view as you continue to make such good progress. You're going great guns!
We crossed the Seine by BAC some years ago - memorable - and attempted to camp at Cuadebec en Caux. However, the town was going to shut the next day for the Tour de France so we left in a hurry (didn't get to see the seaplane carving).
Stick at it Simon. Thinking of you.
