Back on the road again! No rest for the wicked(or, in your case, the righteous!). Hope that you have had a lovely time with Jennifer, Jon and Phil and that you've been encouraged for the next leg to Brissle..........Hope, too, that the weather is a bit better than here in the murky Midlands. Jon Barrett did well this morning - good service but I realised that I was getting old when I reflected on how young he looked. Keep up the good work - expecting some good descriptions of the countryside this week and one or two beer reviews........ Go careful.
Hi Simon Hope you had a good time with family and that it is not too hard being back on the road again. I got some walking in Yorkshire at the end of last week and so - despite the rain - am feeling more human again. best wishes for the next stretch Love paula
I'm a 46 year old husband, father of two and vicar in the parish of Oadby, Leicestershire. Between Easter and Pentecost in 2009 I walked home from Paris to Oadby - a peculiar kind of pilgrimage.

Walking Home 2009
The route was 540 miles, from Paris where Jennifer and I honeymooned in 1986, to Oadby where I live and work today. It's a bit wiggly because friends, family, significant places and affordable accomodation don't fall on a straight line. Click here for a larger view.
