what a walk yesterday, eh?! Well done - trust that is 'your glitch for the mission' (Apollo 13 film. Whoops! Perhaps, I shouldn't have said that?! Kidding - honest). I noticed that the board outside the village shop advertised Dorset Blue Vinny cheese - I wonder if that is the authentic unpasteurised version or a sanitised EU product. Used to be sold under conditions of great secrecy to avoid prosecution - and it's just a lump of cheese!! Anyway, hope that you have good accomodation this evening and an enjoyable meal. Keep up the good work. You might pray for me - my work laptop packed up and has been rebuilt: only I don't have Admin rights on it any longer so I can't reinstall the missing applications which I need to do my job! Death, where is thy sting??? Must keep smiling - the management hate it..................
Look forward to the next few miles towards Bristol - enjoy the wonderful scenery.
I'm a 46 year old husband, father of two and vicar in the parish of Oadby, Leicestershire. Between Easter and Pentecost in 2009 I walked home from Paris to Oadby - a peculiar kind of pilgrimage.

Walking Home 2009
The route was 540 miles, from Paris where Jennifer and I honeymooned in 1986, to Oadby where I live and work today. It's a bit wiggly because friends, family, significant places and affordable accomodation don't fall on a straight line. Click here for a larger view.
