My walking verse today was Ecclesiastes 10.3, "Even when fools walk on the road, they lack sense, and show everyone that they are fools."
Good job this was a stay-indoors day, then.
I've been helping Jenny build a replica of Nehemiah's walls of Jerusalem, for a service on Sunday. She entrusted me with the task for a couple of hours but has just returned and dismantled everything I made!
It's going to be a great day because tonight Jennifer and Phil are driving down and tomorrow, Jon will be joining us. The whole Harvey family together again for the first time in twenty-five days. I can't wait.
Hi Simon
ReplyDeletealthough we've been keeping an eye on your progress this week we've been a bit tardy with the comments - sorry! But, what a great weeks walking and a well earned break with your family over the next couple of days: hope that you all have a great time together (and, maybe, some sunshine?)
We will print off this weeks blog entries and put a couple of copies in St. Paul's tomorrow - the last lot 'walked' so people are wanting to know what you're up to!
Enjoyed the description of cliff-top walking and the picture - could almost smell the salt air but it's back to the CCD essay for me (groan....)
Have a great weekend.
