When one walks

"When one walks, one is brought into touch first of all with the essential relations between one's physical powers and the character of the country; one is compelled to see it as its natives do. Then every man one meets is an individual. "

  1. Always nice to see the Great Beast 666, Wickedest man in the World and author of 'Snowdrops from a Curate's Garden' quoted by a vicar!

    Bon voyage...

  2. Whoops! Never spotted that. Oh well, I expect to be travelling in some very strange company on this journey, so I guess that's part of the individuality of "every man I meet". The occasional oddball along the way will keep it interesting.
