Snow cancels walk

The plans were laid for another long practice walk today but snow has changed all that. I'm actually feeling pretty smug for predicting a harsh winter (I'm convinced there's a link with low sunspot activity and we're at the lowest part of the eleven year cycle).

Oh well, there's plenty of preparation still to do - maps to print, some more B&Bs to book. And I could always clean my boots, I suppose.
