Could I walk it?

There's a scene in Bruce Almighty, where Bruce Nolan (played by Jim Carrey) asks God for a sign. This is the set-up for a string of gags where the road signs that he passes suggest he's heading into danger and should really change direction.

I had my own Bruce Nolan moment this morning, as I trudged up the A6 into Leicester:
